For Marvell Technology, whose innovations underpin the world’s data infrastructure, the challenge was clear: design an office embodying the speed, ingenuity, and connectivity shaping tomorrow. Their answer rises in Singapore — a workspace where human warmth and technical functionality harmonise, transforming the traditional office into a vibrant ecosystem for creativity.

The Heartbeat of the Office
A sense of open invitation greets you at the door, where rich textures and a serene palette set the stage. Timber-lined walls and plush lounges elevate the reception, channelling boutique hotel calm over corporate formality.
The effect is intentional: a welcoming environment that softens the boundaries between work, collaboration, and conversation. Instead of bold branding or overt corporate graphics, the space communicates identity through subtlety — through textures, materiality, and carefully orchestrated spatial flow.
Flexible meeting rooms with operable walls and reconfigurable furniture allow spaces to expand or divide for focused discussions or larger gatherings.
At the core is a versatile work café, alive with the energy of possibility. Here, staff find more than a respite; it’s a social nexus and event stage. Modular furniture lets the space transform seamlessly, from casual dining to lively town halls or interactive workshops. The living green wall stands tall, spilling vibrancy and freshness into the room, while abundant natural daylight casts a revitalising glow across every gathering. In these lively moments, Marvell’s office becomes a true sanctuary — where innovation is coaxed into being by balancing comfort, energy, and clarity.
Beyond its vibrant energy, the spatial layout subtly echoes the very technologies Marvell engineers. Inspired by the brand’s semiconductor and data-infrastructure systems, the office adopts a linear circulation pattern that guides movement with quiet precision. Pathways flow like data channels, directing traffic intuitively between work zones, collaboration areas, and social spaces. Overhead, the ceiling design reinforces this concept: a network of lines and geometric patterns reminiscent of circuitry traces across a microchip. The result is both symbolic and practical — an environment where the invisible logic of data architecture is translated into a physical language of clarity, rhythm, and efficiency.
Circulation amongst the work zones and meeting areas is guided by clear wayfinding and a calm, understated material palette.
Agility That Adapts
Adaptability ripples outward from the central café, orchestrating the rhythm of the workplace. The training room exemplifies this with ingenious partitions that shift the space from a focused 14-seat setup to a capacious 28-seat seminar venue in moments. This nimbleness echoes the ever-shifting demands of technology, where adaptability and precision must waltz together. Nothing is static; every element flexes in response to the daily flow.
Conexus Studio has choreographed each zone like a movement in a grand composition — thoughtfully placed to encourage deep focus and spontaneous collaboration alike. Nooks, corridors, and flexible lounges become fertile ground for unexpected exchanges and new sparks of inspiration. Collaboration zones shimmer with acoustic craft and expansive sightlines, while integrated tech effortlessly connects desks and continents. The result is an environment designed to support seamless interaction and spontaneous collaboration.

What we enjoyed most about this project was resolving the tension between a highly technical workplace and a genuinely human experience. Every decision, from how spaces divide and recombine to how light, colour, and material guide movement, was made to support focus, collaboration, and change without visual or operational friction. The result is an office that performs with precision, yet feels calm, intuitive, and distinctly people-first.
