Conexus Studio | In Bangkok, Samsonite’s new Thailand headquarters translates the language of travel into a calm, lifestyle-driven workplace — where clarity, collaboration, and cultural alignment shape a modern office designed for performance and pause.

Conexus Studio | Samsonite’s new Thailand headquarters is a workplace designed to move with its people. Conceived as a journey, the design supports the natural rhythm of a workday, balancing high-energy collaboration with quiet focus. Drawing from Samsonite’s enduring values of reliability, durability, and purposeful movement, the design reflects the brand’s travel heritage in a composed and intentional way, creating an environment that feels both dynamic and grounded.

Journey by Design: Mapping the Workspace Experience

Anchored by a central arrival zone, the floorplate unfolds into two distinct neighbourhoods. To the north, open work areas enjoy access to daylight and shared views, creating an energetic setting for communication and teamwork. Collaborative corners are positioned along the perimeter, encouraging informal exchanges, while phone booths and enclosed focus rooms provide immediate retreat for concentrated tasks.

To the south, the atmosphere becomes quieter and more grounded. Operational teams and leadership offices occupy a zone calibrated for discretion and decision-making. Circulation naturally slows here, and acoustics soften, creating a subtle shift in tempo. The planning allows different intensities of work to coexist without fragmentation, balancing openness with privacy.

A gradient blue corridor guides movement, creating visual continuity and a subtle sense of forward momentum.

While the design embraces movement, it is anchored by stability. Fixed workstations and dedicated storage form a reliable operational core, reinforcing daily efficiency and continuity. This grounded foundation is balanced by layered flexibility — a distributed network of meeting rooms and focus zones that allow privacy and collaboration to coexist fluidly.

At the heart of the office, the pantry functions as a social anchor. Designed in a café style, it serves as a shared hub for conversation and pause. Timber surfaces, softer lighting, and relaxed seating create a perceptible shift in tone from the structured workstation zones. It is here that the workplace most clearly expresses its lifestyle sensibility — recognising that performance is sustained not only by efficiency, but by moments of human connection.

A variety of work settings enable the team to seamlessly switch modes while maintaining clear sightlines.

Quiet Confidence: The Language of Material and Color

The office’s material palette is understated yet confident. Instead of relying on overt branding, identity is woven into the environment with restraint. At the entrance, a gradient feature wall in Samsonite’s signature blue introduces depth and quiet momentum — a visual nod to travel without literal references. The same blue flows through meeting rooms and shared spaces, reinforcing continuity.

A disciplined palette of white and soft grey establishes architectural clarity, creating a light yet grounded backdrop. To temper the minimalism, warm timber and integrated planting are layered against a disciplined backdrop of white and soft grey. Strategic accents of orange, yellow, and teal inject energy without disrupting the calm foundation, creating an environment that feels corporate in structure but lifestyle in comfort.

The pantry’s vibrant blue and warm timber finishes create a welcoming social hub for everyday connection.

The design ensures that the new environment is not only functional and welcoming, but also a true reflection of Samsonite’s commitment to thoughtful, lasting solutions for the people who use it. It is a workplace built not just for today, but for the long haul — composed, intuitive, and ready for departure.

Our office is a physical reflection of our brand vision — purposeful, refined, and thoughtfully designed. Every detail has been translated into the space through a clean and minimal interpretation, ensuring that our identity is expressed consistently from every angle.
