Conexus Studio | Marking its first expansion beyond China, Fangda Partners unveils a Singapore office where natural symbolism, precise geometry, and quiet luxury shape a global legal identity.
Conexus Studio | On the 55th floor of One Raffles Place, above the glass shimmer of Singapore’s skyline, a single bonsai tree stands as a quiet manifesto. It anchors the first overseas office of Fangda Partners — a firm known across Asia for high-stakes corporate work — signalling both continuity and ambition in equal measure.

Warm wood textures and quiet tones frame a bright, transformable boardroom built for both focus and fluidity.
Designed and built by Conexus Studio, the 5,000 square foot office is a study in restraint. Neutral palettes, angular geometry, and expanses of daylight create an atmosphere of understated authority. A unique triangular layout injects a visual dynamism, complemented by contemporary artworks that introduce flashes of creative energy. The design balances minimalism with warmth, a visual metaphor for a firm negotiating between heritage and global modernity.
A powerful symbol of the firm’s heritage and values stands at the heart of the workspace: a striking bonsai tree. Representing wisdom, longevity, and balance, the bonsai serves as a conceptual bridge between tradition and modernity. It is strategically positioned to be visible from multiple viewpoints, allowing its serene presence to be felt throughout the office. This miniature embodiment of nature acts as a calming focal point, grounding the dynamic energy of the design and enhancing the open, airy character of the space.

Neutral hues and structured angles craft a reception of understated authority, harmonising heritage, modernity, and adaptable workspaces.
Functionality was key in redefining this modern legal office. The layout provides a mix of private meeting rooms and sleek workstations for focused work, alongside open collaborative zones designed to encourage spontaneous interaction. The reception area showcases thoughtful flexibility, using operable walls to transform from a compact arrival space into an open forum for events.
This flexibility allows the office to meet the evolving demands of both clients and employees, creating a front-of-house experience that is as considered as it is welcoming. In this carefully considered setting, every detail speaks to longevity. Here, the next chapter of Fangda Partners begins with grace, precision, and the confidence of enduring design.
Conexus Studio truly understood our vision and brought it to life with a beautifully designed space that feels like an extension of our brand. As our first office outside China, we’re very pleased with the outcome and grateful for their professionalism and ongoing support.
