Taking it to the Maximus.

Maximus is a leading firm of unique sales and leadership programs in Australia and across the Asia Pacific, with a vision to move minds and transform business. Our brief was to take their newly acquired 600sqm of warehouse space, situated over the water on the cusp of Sydney’s CBD and transform it into an inviting experience that allows participating enhances the learning.

The new space for Maximus was delivered with one primary objective in mind – to set Maximus apart and facilitate fully engaged learning.

This experience commences upon the ground floor entry to ‘the landing’ a central bar and breakout space utilised for entertaining as well as more casual style meetings. The bar and atrium space has been designed to be visible from every part of the workplace across two levels, and a natural meeting point.

The bar consists of feature Carrara marble with breakout banquette seating to encourage people to gather and connect. These casual spaces are supported by sophisticated boardrooms providing a balance of formal and casual spaces.

With learning at their core, the ground floor also comprises a large training room with U-shaped banquette leather seating, to ensure greater speaker visibility and acoustic clarity from every position.

The mezzanine level comprises of an entirely open-plan workspace that reflects quality teamed with a monochromatic palette. Furniture choices include custom-designed alpha-leg workstations that lend more of a refined feel rather than traditional workstations. The client was heavily invested in the incorporation of plants throughout the space. In particular, two custom column planter systems designed in collaboration with Siren and Junglefy. The Directors’ area is focussed again on providing a comfortable and intimate space with Moooi pendant lights and luxurious linen lounges.

An extensive outdoor deck overlooks the Harbour Bridge and water views.
