At the Euler-Hermes headquarters, König + Neurath’s innovative furniture elements perfectly complement the nature-inspired work environment comprising engaging biophilic details.

König + Neurath: There’s an air of vibrant serenity within the new German headquarters of the credit insurer Euler Hermes. Upon stepping into its workspace, natural organic shapes and refined futuristic lines set off a lively atmosphere. Plants, graphics, and colour components inspired by nature add to the appealing vibe as well. In all, it’s a pleasant space to work, share ideas, and foster a collaborative culture.

“Emotions always play an important role in our concepts. Our primary goal is to give interiors their own identity and legibility: identification, orientation, recognisability and differentiation are the keywords,” says Kim Marc Bobsin of SBP, the Hamburg-based planning office commissioned to design the headquarters.

Aesthetics aside, Euler-Hermes also emphasises sustainability. Accommodating approximately 1,100 employees, the building is DGNB Gold-certified with details that promote significant energy savings. Additionally, the headquarters also incorporate biophilic design components.

To complement this invigorating concept with a thriving work environment, König + Neurath equipped the space with a total of 80 THINK.TANKs for meetings and discussions. To ensure employees are ergonomically seated throughout the day, workstations incorporate motorised height-adjustable TALO.S tables with flyby panels as privacy screens along with JET.II swivel chairs and pedestals. As a way to zone the office areas, ACTA.PLUS storage elements with acoustically effective fronts were used as well.
