At the Euler-Hermes headquarters, König + Neurath’s innovative furniture elements perfectly complement the nature-inspired work environment comprising engaging biophilic details.

There’s an air of vibrant serenity within the new German headquarters of the credit insurer Euler Hermes. Upon stepping into its workspace, natural organic shapes and refined futuristic lines set off a lively atmosphere. Plants, graphics, and colour components inspired by nature add to the appealing vibe as well. In all, it’s a pleasant space to work, share ideas, and foster a collaborative culture.

“Emotions always play an important role in our concepts. Our primary goal is to give interiors their own identity and legibility: identification, orientation, recognisability and differentiation are the keywords,” says Kim Marc Bobsin of SBP, the Hamburg-based planning office commissioned to design the headquarters.

Aesthetics aside, Euler-Hermes also emphasises sustainability. Accommodating approximately 1,100 employees, the building is DGNB Gold-certified with details that promote significant energy savings. Additionally, the headquarters also incorporate biophilic design components.

To complement this invigorating concept with a thriving work environment, König + Neurath equipped the space with a total of 80 THINK.TANKs for meetings and discussions. To ensure employees are ergonomically seated throughout the day, workstations incorporate motorised height-adjustable TALO.S tables with flyby panels as privacy screens along with JET.II swivel chairs and pedestals. As a way to zone the office areas, ACTA.PLUS storage elements with acoustically effective fronts were used as well.
