Kettal and ITOKI bring hospitality-inspired design into the workplace, introducing the Pavilion alongside a curated selection of furniture collections that elevate comfort, fluidity, and collaborative culture.
Kettal | ITOKI Corporation introduces a new dimension of workplace experience with the arrival of Kettal’s Pavilion and an extensive selection of furniture pieces crafted to enhance comfort, openness, and human connection. Presented within the ITOKI DESIGN HOUSE at the company’s Tokyo headquarters, the Pavilion becomes an architectural gesture that shifts how people gather, focus, and collaborate. Its distinctive eaves and refined structural clarity create a gentle sense of invitation, forming an environment where movement feels intuitive and work takes on a more natural rhythm.

The Pavilion reflects Kettal’s longstanding commitment to material harmony and hospitality-driven design. Aluminium components give the structure a lightweight elegance, while the overall form provides a sense of calm that supports changing workstyles throughout the day. Within ITOKI’s headquarters, the Pavilion serves as a flexible anchor that encourages transitions between dialogue, retreat, and shared activity. This balance illustrates how furniture and architecture can work together to redefine purpose without overwhelming the space they occupy.

Alongside the Pavilion, ITOKI introduces a curated selection of Kettal’s signature furniture collections. The Club Chair offers generous comfort wrapped in a contemporary silhouette that suits both formal and informal settings. The Indoor Stackable Dining Armchair from the Passage collection by Ronan Bouroullec brings a soft, versatile presence to communal spaces. The Ringer Dining Chair adds sculptural clarity, while the Cala Dining Table becomes a stable and elegant point of gathering. For quieter moments, the Mesh 3-Seater Sofa layers transparency and texture to create an inviting atmosphere within lounge zones.

With access to all 103 items from Kettal’s Living 44, Contract 50, and Workplace 9 collections, ITOKI strengthens its vision of a workplace shaped by warmth, craftsmanship, and thoughtful design expression. The collaboration introduces the sensibility of outdoor living into interior environments, allowing offices to feel more open, grounded, and human-centred. Through this partnership, ITOKI highlights how design can encourage healthier work culture, nurturing creativity and comfort through environments crafted with intention and care.
