Since 1990, Sheldon has pioneered the design and construct model in Australia, offering unparalleled expertise in office fitouts with in-house divisions for design, project management, partitioning, electrical/technology, joinery and furniture manufacturing. Sheldon was founded on agility, innovation and over-delivering to clients, constructing over 3000 workplaces for more than 200,000 employees. Their seamless turn-key solution makes creating new offices hassle-free. Sheldon’s in-house manufacturing facility on NSW’s Central Coast enables local production of top quality furniture and joinery, without the risk of long lead times or supply chain issues.

Sheldon knows that workplace happiness is key to a positive company culture, productivity, and attracting and retaining the best talent in a rapidly changing world of work. They create and incorporate a unique sense of happiness into the workplaces they design and construct, and central to Sheldon’s mission is making a positive societal impact. Sheldon do this through a rigorous and interactive workplace strategy process, collaborating with clients and diving deep into the science of workplace design and productivity to craft spaces that are customised to suit both the present and future needs of businesses.

Sheldon places environmental regeneration and circular design practices at the core of their entire process, starting from the design phase where spatial planning and material selection are carefully considered. Sheldon guides clients towards more environmentally sound alternatives, prioritising reuse and recycling where possible to minimise the carbon footprint. With control of the entire design and construction process through their internal divisions, Sheldon is able to incorporate sustainable initiatives throughout the lifecycle of the project.  Sheldon currently utilises zero emissions electric vehicles for deliveries while working towards transforming their local furniture and joinery manufacturing factory to a fully solar-powered facility.

With a focus on Country, Sheldon has always been passionate about increasing cultural awareness of Australian Indigenous people and communities and to bridge the gap in employment, opportunity and health. It is important at Sheldon that they engage with Indigenous communities and perspectives internally, and through their projects.
